Refund policy

Our returns policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, because we want you to be happy with your purchase.

Please read the following carefully to ensure you are fully aware of your rights under this policy and our obligations to you.

CHANGE OF MIND

Whilst we are fair in our policy, we do not accept returns on items where a change of mind has occurred, and you’ve decided you would prefer a different style or colour.

Church’s Tactical and Outdoors is happy to offer an exchange or store credit only for items that meet our policy guidelines which are laid out below:

  • The item has not been used.
  • The item has no marks, scuffs, dirt, cat/dog hair, stains or distinct strong odours, etc.
  • The item is in a brand new re-sellable condition.
  • The item tag must not be removed
  • The packaging is intact with no marks, damage, sticky tape or stickers.
  • All items are returned including packaging, parts/accessories, manuals etc.
  • The return is received within 30 days of delivery.

Please contact us via email only at info@churchstactical.com.au for your return/exchange to be approved. Any returns that arrive at our warehouse without previous email authorisation will not be accepted and will be returned back to the sender at their expense.

All goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure.

You will also be entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Church’s Tactical and Outdoors will only honour returns on items purchased directly through us.

PROOF OF PURCHASE

Returns, refunds, exchanges or repair requests must be accompanied by any one of the following proof of purchase documents:

  • Register receipt (physical copy or digital copy)
  • Online tax invoice
  • Financial statement such as a credit card statement or a bank statement (however, when the proof of purchase does not clearly itemize the goods, more than one type of proof of purchase may be required).

WARRANTY

Church’s Tactical and Outdoors stands behind the products we sell. Goods supplied by Church’s Tactical and Outdoors are covered by a manufacturer’s warranty. Warranty periods vary according to the product.

The warranty covers manufacturing faults or defects in the original product.  Damage or faults occurring from fair wear and tear, improper use, failure to follow instructions, failure to follow care and maintenance instructions, accidental damage, commercial use, alterations, severe weather events, animals, insects and acts of God are not covered by the manufacturer’s warranty.

The first step to obtain a warranty return is to contact us on info@church’stactical.com.au with your details, a description of the problem and some photos of the issue.  From these details, Church’s Tactical and Outdoors will advise the next course of action which will usually be to initiate a warranty claim with our supplier. Once the item is returned, it will be inspected by Church’s Tactical and Outdoors or forwarded to the manufacturer to confirm its eligibility for a warranty claim.  Once deemed as a warranty claim, the appropriate repairs or exchanges will then be actioned. Each warranty claim is decided on a case-by-case basis.

Please note that we DO NOT provide immediate direct exchanges on goods requiring a warranty claim.
