Building on the success of the TECH 1 All Weather Boonie we now offer a Tropical Weather variation for those serving in Northern climates.
The Tech 1 Tropic increases ventilation in the crown, offering drastically increased airflow and cooling, allowing hot air to escape quickly and aids in the natural evaporative cooling process.
A cotton inner lining has been added to absorb sweat and further enhance cooling and comfort. The inner crown also sports an orange marker panel pocket for signalling.
Made from a nylon and cotton 50/50 blend ripstop material ensures the best comfort for long patrols and durability throughout continued use.
We have incorporated Cordura(R) positive locking cord in the hats adjustable chin cord for its strength and locking characteristics especially useful during water operations and extreme weather.
The cord adjuster has been specifically selected due to it's light weight, butile rubber like feel, easy adjustment and low impedance when stowed.
The Tech 1 Boonie brim offers a large radius providing ample sun protection with a medium stiffness it maintains protection in all weather conditions.
A classic boonie shape is complemented by a narrower front crown allowing comfortable wearing on multiple head shapes.
Dual wall construction has been meticulously thought out providing a more durable product for continued use.
